Description
Drugs. Alcohol. Gambling. Food. Sex.
Just a few of the addictions that many people in our community struggle with. And so do members of our church. And they are our brothers and sisters in Christ who we love. Many of them are in recovery – striving to stay sober or clean, and have benefited greatly by belonging to groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
Some of the members of The Gathering are addicts in recovery – and they have a heart to reach out to their mates with similar struggles. So we are standing with them in this ministry called “The Bridge” – which will seek to connect addicts to a power greater than themselves to be restored and help them in recovery – Jesus, the friend of gluttons and drunkards.
