This week Kerry introduces our holiday series, Down to Earth, speaking from John 12 on how Jesus came to earth to bring glory to His Father.

Speaking from Ephesians 2: 1-22, tonight Dave explained what God has done, to make us alive in Christ.

There are many people claiming to be Jesus, but how can we test the truth of their claims? Showing a Youtube video, called “Inside Australia’s chilling new cult”, and drawing on Matthew 24: 1-25, Ben encourages us to really know our God, who shows Himself to us through Jesus, so we can test any claims we hear against the Truth in His Word.

When we are sick or suffering, who do we turn to for healing? Many believe that God will heal all disease. But is that what He promises? Kerry discusses this by looking at the roles that Jesus fulfilled - Healer, Saviour and Lord. This talk is based on 2 Cor 4: 1-18.

Satan is the enemy of Jesus and we should not underestimate him. But how do we fight Satan? In this talk, Ben reminds us to put on God’s Armor first and foremost, because Jesus has already defeated Satan. This talk is based on Ephesians 6: 1-24.

Kerry looks at what is held sacred when we live amongst different denominations, and urges us to emphasise unity over differences. This talk is based  on Matthew 26:17-30 and  1 Corinthians 11:17-34

Ben has a close look at  what the Bible says about the place of Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and speaking in tongues, in our christian walk. This talk is based on Acts 2: 1-13 and 1 Cor 12: 1-12.

Dave speaks from Ephesians 5 about loving God and loving others, in fellowship, worship, gratitude and submission.

What do you expect your life to be like now as a christian? God does bless us, but does He want you to be rich and prosperous? Ben addresses this issue by looking at three biblical observations based on Jesus’ teaching.  This talk is based on 2 Corinthians 11: 1-15.
