In 2 Peter 3,  Peter turns his attention back to his dear friends and warns them of the scoffers who mock the teaching of Jesus’ second coming. Peter points to the faithfulness of God’s Word and promises in Scripture to remind them that just as the scoffers will come, so will Jesus.
